Raku and Pit firings

Raku is about interruption—pulling the piece from the fire mid-story and letting air, smoke, and chance finish it. Pit firing is not about control at all—it’s about surrendering the work to fire, earth, and atmosphere, and accepting whatever story they leave behind.
